What should I do with the measured data file if I forgot setting the electrode area?

Source:Corrtest Time:2024-12-19 View:0

After you finished the experiment and find that you forgot setting the electrode surface area(following the default 1cm2), what should you do?

Actually the surface area can still be modified even after you finished the test and aleady got the data file.

Take the data of Tafel plot for an example.

Import the data file to the CS Analysis, and find the "cell info". It shows the setting during your experiment.

You can modify the surface area (to be 10 cm2 for instance), and click "Apply".

You can save the data after above modification by clicking "Export Active Data".
