In i-t curve testing, potential should be set vs. OCP or vs. RE?
It depends. If it is a conventional electrocatalytic test, in most cases, the working electrode potential should be set vs. RE;
In the field of electrochemical corrosion, sometimes the potential will be changed to be vs. open circuit potential (the reference electrode is still in use).
