On March 21, 2019, Porf. Anees, Dean of the School of Chemistry and Engineering of Diyala University (Iraq), visited our company. The visit aimed at building cooperation between their corrosion lab and our company. Our role is to provide CS potentiostat for their corrosion study. Technical director of Corrtest Prof. Dong, the general manager Mrs Song, and the business and technical personnel attended this meeting.

  Iraq is a major oil producer in the world. During oil production and transportation, metal equipment often stays in a corrosive environment such as acid, saline, water, etc., thus serious corrosion occurs. Being the head of the corrosion laboratory of the University of Diyala in Iraq, Professor Anees has been studying corrosion and corrosion control for a long time.
   Prof. Anees discussed the synthesis, extraction and evaluation of novel and green corrosion inhibitors with Prof. Dong. He learned more about our CS series potentiostat galvanostat and CST series industrial on-site corrosion monitoring equipments. In our company lab, Prof. Anees showed great interest in the ongoing simulation corrosion experiments, and deeply discussed with our technical staff. He told us that these equipments can to be used in oil and gas field in Iraq.

  During his visit, Prof. Anees and our company have reached a 4-year cooperation to carry out long-term research. Our company will provide corrosion lab of Diyala University with electrochemical workstation equipments. Compared with many expensive equipments, CS series potentiostats have the advantages of high quality, cost-effectiveness and good service. They are preferred by users at home and abroad.
